Aspirational graphic design work

Goals within Stage

Within the 3 weeks of stage, I hope to gain more experience, knowledge, and connections. By jumping in headfirst to work in a professional environment, I want to gain more hands-on experience as to what the design field needs today. As I pursuit my stage, I hope to gain more knowledge through feedback and mentorship to allow me to progress more of my potential.   Moreover I want to explore my potienial in all the aspirational graphic design work I wish to do.

Over the past semesters of the Graphic and Web design program, I’ve had plenty of time to learn the different aspects of the graphic design field.  Among these courses, I’ve had a taste of all the aspirational graphic design work I would have wanted to. From which, I realized I would most like to do branding within my stage internship. Particularly, I would like to learn how to help clients when it comes to making their brand identity. By hopefully, making the most of my stage experience, I would hope to cover a multitude of different projects in efforts to learn as much as possible.

Beyond the pursuits of stage

In the next 5-10 years beyond the graphic and design program and stage. My aspirational graphic design work would head towards the brand identity niche. I do find myself having a limited preference for the niche that I would focus on. As long as, I get to do mostly brand identity, logo design and packaging, I would be happy. In the next few years, I would hope to work in a mid-size agency alongside a close-knit team. My priority as designer, would be to gain more creative freedom as I grow clients, and a known reputation without sacrificing the needs of clients first. In any case, everything I do will bring me further to where I want to go.
